Significant sweat reduction due to Vital-Base technology.

PCM (Phase Change Material) was originally developed for the space industry. Vital Base/Alu-Rehab has implemented PCM in ClimaTherm™ outer covers, it serves to keep temperatures to approx. 33°C. PCM contains micro capsules which freeze at 33°C. When this material «freezes» it releases off heat and when it «melts» it uses heat. The surplus heat is stored and released when the temperature falls below 33°C and vice versa.

Vital Base uses a high-tech material containing 96% air to create humidity transport and air-flow. A ventilation layer consisting of standing fibres ensures optimum air ventilation in the cushion cover.

Always ready for use. Unpack, put cushion in the chair – and sit down. No adjustments (alterations or pumping) required. The cushions «regenerate» after use (and are immediately ready for re-use).

Optimum pressure relief. The layered construction of Vital Base cushions ensures an optimum contact surface and thus the best pressure distribution.

Stabilising. Through the use of different layers of high-tech foam, the cushions work interactively with the user. They both dampen impacts and relieve pressure. The pelvis is stabilised, making it easier for the user to maintain stability in the upper body.

Clean solutions. All covers are machine-washable, and can be spun, tumbled or air dried.
